Born into a well-off family, it does not guarantee that his childhood memories would be as beautiful as most children’s. Physical and verbal abuse were daily occurrences for this eldest of five siblings from the time he was in elementary school until the sixth grade. As he approached a quarter-life crisis nearing his thirties, he began to find enlightenment from each stroke of events written on the pages of his life up to this day.

Drawing from a collection of challenging stories from his childhood, Muh. Hafizhuddin Al Ghifary, commonly known as Hafizh, strives to rise from the lowest point in his life by focusing on spreading beneficial impacts through social activities, teaching in various formal and informal settings. His vision is simple; he deeply desires to support everyone facing complex problems, particularly in mental health. Education serves as his gateway to contribute to society at large.

A graduate in International Relations with honors and the top graduate recipient of a master’s scholarship in the International Program on Urban Governance in Taiwan, he is highly interested in community empowerment issues through alternative schooling that leads to financial and mental independence. His mission is straightforward: the best of people are those who are beneficial to others.
